File sharing

I can share files between my wireless laptop and pc when i have kerio turned off, but when its turned on it doesn't work. Ive put the appropriate IPs in the trusted area but it still doesnt work. Ive heard sum1 mention packet filter settings (UDP TCP), but i duno what that means.

Any Ideas?

If you have a router why are you using software firewalls?

Uninstall all internal firewalls if you have a router. If not what is up with Microsofts firewall?

cool, so i dont need any firewalls if i have a router? Do i need to setup my router to protect or does it do it automatically. Sorry i dont know much about routers.

A router uses NAT and provides BASIC inbound protection, it's no use if you have any wish to restrict outbound application access. You may want to have a look at the network FAQ...
