File/software question

Not sure if this is the right place but hey ho....

I've downloaded this program, in the readme the first instruction I get is it '- mount or burn the image'. I think that it's talking about a .ISO file but there's no .ISO file to be seen.

I have a NRG file which I reckon I'm supposed to do something with but I'm a little clueless and the readme doesn't offer much help

Any help appreciated

.nrg is another type of image file (created by Nero).

just rename is .iso

Tools, Folder Options, View, untick 'hide extensions for known filetypes'

^one of the biggest security **** ups MS ever made imo!

remove nero if you have it.

install IMGburn and Virtual CloneDrive

imgburn is for all burning needs
virtual clonedrive is for mounting images

ehhh....

downloaded Virtual CloneDrive, XP didn't like it and BSOD at end of installation.

Now it's saying I have to activate windows. Is this normal :s
