Hi all,
My PC messed up forcing me to re-install. I was able to transfer settings using the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard. However, even though the Windows XP version I am using is exactly the same as before, I am unable to import it. I browse to the correct directory only to get an error stating:
'The location that you specified does not contain stored information.
Please type a valid folder path into the edit box.
If you entered a path to a folder on a removable disk, the disk must be in the drive.'
The folder I am accessing is called USMT2.UNC and contains an image of my file/settings called 'IMG00001' and another file saying 'status'.
This is 1.3GB in size.
What is going wrong here? I have done this with success in the past but not this time. Is there a way I can enter this image and retreive my stuff? This is really annoying! I would really appreciate any advice.
Thank you!
