After moving house, we emptied a brick pond that the previous owners had.
Because we've got young children, we decided it was safer to remove the water risk.
So, now we have a large brick construction with an empty hole in the middle.
I'd like to put a water feature on there instead. So that its not a pond, but just has moving water going round and round some kind of statue.
But - what to do with the hole that is there. Should I fill it with soil to use as the base for whatever I put on top. Or just put decking boards across and leave the hole underneath?
Any ideas?
