I’ve just had a radiator moved and each side of the radiator the plumber has chased through the dot and dab plasterboard to inset the pipes.

I need to fill this cut out (not an issue) but here’s a little conundrum, I need to paint the wall behind the rad after filling and sanding , there isn’t enough room to paint ( even with a small roller ) so I will need to remove the radiator once everything has set, but I don’t think there will be any play on the pipes at all due to them now being buried

any tips or suggestions welcomed as I need to get it sorted asap

Now I just need to rethink the filling as the pipes do not go back far into the wall so will probably end up cracking the thin plaster at some point
