I would fill your cars up tomorrow as i reckon we will see the affects of the high oil prices starting next week. Just trying to save you a pound or two.

I can't belive quite how many of his posts have been about oil prices
Seriously dude, get out more (but cycle if it makes you feel better!)

Was just pointing out the number of oil/petrol posts there are from this guy.
Still, if he knows his stuff?
All good advice! He is, as he said, trying to save us a couple of quid.

No, I meant it's a dead link for me.
I just glanced at his previous posts and could see he's slightly oil obsessed!

Thats exactly it, its a couple of quid. Who gives a flying fig about £2 at most

The oil price posts are getting a bit old. Chill out and forget about it, it's only a couple of quid per fillup at most. If oil prices are all you have to worry about count yourself lucky.

Relax.

I only its only a few pound extra at the pumps, tbfh i dont really worry about that i fill my car till its full whatever it costs. People seem to forget it all the extra costs on everything else. Which may well add up to a lot more money being spent everyweek. For example food prices and so on, but these will take longer to go up in price. I dont really worry about it at all, i drive a car that does sub 30's in the town. If i was that much of a nut i would have went to the devils fuel a long time ago. I am just trying to inform you all of an issue which will only get worse as the years go by.

I just got the impression from your many posts on the subject that you were a bit worked up over it. It's hardly breaking news, we've known for years that the prices are going to go up.

What i find funny is, you all laugh at these threads etc. Yet the very same people create threads and moan about it, when it goes up in price. Also sxuzi i wonder what they will use come march time. With the price of fuel i can see the petrol bombers going green :p

Well they're rioting the bit out in Lurgan at the minute and must be spending a fortune on petrol. Once they get tight for money I can see them trying diesel bombs again like they did back in the '97 riots, that was a funny sight :D

As an example, I am going to take the shop I work at as an example.

Three times a week, we get a delivery. This delivery is usually at least 12 completely full pallets of stock, sometimes more, rarely less. Thousands of individual items there per delivery.

An extra few pence per litre spread evenly across the cost of the products equates to quite a god damn small amount per item. I cant see how even doubling the cost of fuel would have any more effect than a few pence on a pint of milk, for example.

Well lets wait and see what it goes to this summer. I say $80 and dont see it dropping below $70 again. If i am wrong, you can all drag me down the naked, and throw stuff at me.

but what difference does it really make?

not much tbh. if they start charging $200 per barrel then maybe things will be different, but in general it wont add that much to peoples payout on petrol over the year.
