I know you can't do this with foxit unless you have pro, well you can but you get a watermark which I don't want.
Can you do this in adobe reader? I'm guessing not as going by 'reader' its just that?
I have found this http://www.pdffiller.com/ is that my only free option?

Have you tried Open Office or even Word? Is there a setting there that can read/convert PDF's to something you can fill in yourself then print off?

Not quite understanding the OP, but Word will allow you to import a PDF and then create text boxes over the necessary blank fields than need to be filled in.

Basically I have a pdf that has parts I need to fill in and wanted to type in what I need as it will be neater.
How do you do it in word I see the import option and have selected the pdf but it doesn't show up, 2007 I'm using.

Looks good, I'll have a proper look tomorrow, cheers.

The document I have wasn't created in adobe it was nitropdf. and I can't see a way of adding text in Adobe reader. I've downloaded the app in your link which looks good, thank you.

I was thinking about downloading the acrobat trial from adobe, but if the document wasn't created in adobe would I be able to edit it?
