Filling tumble drier vent hole

Leave the vent grille but fill the hole in with a piece of block and mortar it in. Do the same on the inside.

So much bodge job in this thread, brick it in with Lego and be done with it. if you're keeping the outside vent, I would mortar a piece of breeze block in the hole and plaster/board over the top inside, then skim and decorate.
