Films onto i pod

Hi there, i have read loads of guides inc the OCUK guide and i still cannot get films onto my i phone.

I cant even drag and drop onto the i phone.

What am i doing wrong? Does anyone know what format i need. Is it MOV or mp4

Its proper doing my head in now :(

Yup that's pretty much all I do.

Convertor wise I still use the same one as when I had my psp it's called xvid4psp but has options to convert for many other devices (including iPhone/iPod) as well. I'm sure other can recommend better ones but I find it works well enough.
 
I have the same problem still. I have converted the film. I can put into Library but cannot get it onto i phone. It comes up with a no entry sign if i try to drag it onto i phone :(
 
OK so you have the movie showing up in the iTunes library movies section right?

If you do you need to plug in your iPhone, click on it in the list on the left, then select the video tab. With this tab selected click on the "Sync Movies" check box then tick the movies you want on your iPhone. Once you have all the movies you want selected click Apply in the bottom right of the screen.
 
Ok i will try that. I have converted the film into mp4 but there is an option to covert the film in i tunes. It says to make it into i pod format? Thats what i am doing now
