Basically the Ghostbuster thread got me thinking which films/ TV shows i'd like to see made in to games.

Sin City - Could be a magical game, just waiting to happen.

Evil Dead - Army of Darkness - Pick up from where AoD left off, him waking up after taking the drops to find the world he knows gone.

Back To the Future - New missions, get to drive the car, jump to different time zones putting things right.

Red Dwarf - Why on earth has a space exploration game not been made yet using this license?

Quantum Leap - Jumping from person to person sorting things out, maybe more of a PC game. Point n click exploration.

I would like to see Jurassic Park, Aliens, Terminator all hit next gen consoles, they've a winning brand and done right can be special games. A Robin Hood game in the style of Oblivion would also suit.

So what would you like to see made into a game?
 
I'd quite like to see a Fifth Element game, or any other Brucie film :)

A lot of chineese films could be quite good, House of Flying Daggers, Hero etc..

Se7en could also be quite good, kind of CSI meets Max Payne

Will add more as I think of them

There was a 5th Element game for the PC, i had the demo, it was pretty rubbish tbh, shame :(

A Chinese fighting game, like Tekken etc, but with a storeyline maybe following daggers etc would be great.

PS: I thought more people would have had ideas tbh. Nothing better than a game which take itself from a film done properly.
 
Well they've always said they'd like to make a Red Dwarf game after the film (we can but hope). So give it another 10 years at least. Until then the Firefly MMORPG will tide me over :D

Or a Dollars trilogy movie, they could be quite good, especially with the spate of westerns around. Only if done right and with Eastwood's voice

Did they make a running man game before? I have a strange feeling there was one on the Amiga. I think that could be quite cool, even as a multiplayer CS type game.

But on the whole Movie to games works just as bad as games to movies. The only reason many folk would look at them, is because of their counterpart.
And its usually cos not a lot of money get's thrown at them as the licenses cost so much, and they know it will sell.
I mean take the shield for instance. That coulda made a fantastic sandbox game. Running LA, lettings drug dealers operate, but only so far and certain ones. When they step out of hand you have to find ways to deal with it.
Along with a few main cases that you work on investigating areas, interogating folk, bending the law when you need too.But the reviews it is getting is like 3/10. I don't even know if it is a sandbox game.

Only with the Wii Controls when you have to brush your hair within 5 seconds of any strenuous activity with the Wiimote and nunchuck lol
 
Where Eagles Dare.

This film is one of my guilty pleasures and would make a fine co op game playing as either Richard Burton or Clint Eastwood. The in game body count would have to be truly spectacular though, and the bad guys must not be able to shoot straight either ;)

I'd also like to see an Escape From New York game. I have absolutely no idea how it would work, but I so want to be (call me) Snake Plissken. :cool:
 
STILL waiting for a stargate game :(

after the last hash at it that didnt even get released. they should have really let the fargate project continue :)

i know theres that new MMORPG on the way but im not a fan of RPG's. would rather have a FPS
 
its not a film but there a book by s king called the cell that would be good on both game and film also serious of books called deathlands could have potential as a decent game.
