Think we can all agree that generally the book versions of our favourite works are generally far superior to the film variant.
After reading the City of God thread and finding out that it's actually based on a novel (however unavailable on Kindle ) it made me think of other films i really like and where i wished there was a book option which fleshed things out. The main one i came up with was Dazed and Confused. I think a novel of that script would be awesome.
Interestingly i also thought about Firefly and how cool that would be as books and it seems they've retrospectively created a series of novels in 2018 with the approval of Josh Whedon so going to try and give those a read.
