Films and Music through 360

If ive got some films and Music on my pc and i want to play them on my TV through my xbox how would i do this ?

Both are wired into a router and on the same internet connection

Tried following the steps it says on the 360 but i must be going wrong somewhere

Will it work with a normal router or do i need soemthing special ?

If you have XP Media centre or Vista premium/ultimate they will have windows media extender which will allow you to do this too.

then transcode360 on your pc which is a seperate app that runs silently in background for xvid playback, and it works perfect

Does the xbox need to be wireless, its says on there it does ?

As long as it's on the network it'll be fine.

Right setup Tversity but the xbox doesn't seem to find it when it searches

how do i know if its connected ?
