Filter foam

Hi, do the foam dust filters drasticly reduce air flow?
And does anybody know where i can buy a sheet of the foam from?
I have a HAF case so you cant buy standard 200mm filters anywhere so im going to have to make my own.
I thought of maybe looking in an airconditioning shop at their foam but i dont have any near me :confused:

i would expect it to have a pretty big knock on how much airflow there is. Why not use a pair of tights over the fans if you are desparate for a filter

A microphone pop shield/pair of tights would do the job.

Yeah, tights are usually the best solution for a DIY filter.

Even tights drop the airflow by 20%. Depends on your fan and the static air pressure rather than cfm.
