Filter = No ADSL

Hey guys,

I've just moved into my girlfriends place and i noticed that the ADSL here cuts out when the phone rings. So i checked her phone and realise there is no Filter on the telephone (She uses those cordless phones that only require one phone to be connected).

I've plugged in 2 different filters and no matter what the ADSL will not connect with a filter on the line, as soon as you remove it and plug the phone directly into the wall it reconnects absolutely fine!! Im stumped!

The router is on a different socket which has a filter and her Internet provider is Zen Internet. Any help would be much appreciated!

Ill give the master socket a try.

Even with the phone completely unplugged and the Router being the only thing plugged in it still doesn't connect! However as soon as the phone is plugged back in without a filter it connects no problem, seems to defy logic!

Im fairly certain the sockets aren't pre filtered either as they have no RJ11 socket.

Tried the Test socket on the master.. still doesn't work.

Plugged it back into the other socket with the phone connected without a filter, works fine again. I then pulled out the phone completely and it just disconnects!!
