Filters for 120 and 140mm Fans on Antec 300 Case

I have just bought an Antec 300 Gaming case and want to add some filters to the 140mm top fans and 120mm rear fan.

Both fans fit under a raised mesh portion of the top and rear panels respectively so fitting a flush fan is out of the question. Have had a look at magnetic filters but again the clearance seems to suggest they too are made to fit completely flat panels rather than ones with a raised mesh area over the fan.

Any found or can think of a suitable fan housing / filter combination?
Thanks

Don't bother.

I've got the 300 with a couple of Sharkoon 1000s - fairly low airflow fans - in the front, and the standard antec tri-cool's in the back and top. I clean out the dust filter in the front once every 3 months or so, and there's virtually no dust at all inside the case.

I'd recommend blocking up the side vent (a piece of flat, weak magnet such as that used to print fridge magnets on will do the job, my preference was to cable-tie a fan guard to the slot, with a piece of transparent plastic trapped between - I don't like magnets in my PC) then just leave the tri-cools on low with your intakes slightly above their lowest; let positive airflow do the rest.

If you must get filters, the magnetic ones should work fine since the mesh is concave from the point of view of fitting them on the inside, just check they aren't too thick - there's not a massive amount of clearance between the fans and motherboard.

I got a cheapo 140mm one off ebay, but as for the rear, took a pair of snips to it and removed the grill, dont see much point in covering that one up.

Hi and thanks for your replies.

I was hoping to try and fit a pair of fan filters on the outside of the box (top and rear) - it's then a no-brainer to flip off the filter covers, take out and clean the filters and replace them. Removing screwed-in filters from the inside by unscrewing is a lot more high-maintenance.

I had a look at some of the magnetic ones at Quiet PC but they look low-profile and not sure they would cover the raised case. OcUK do an Akasa Fan Filter (120mm) but not 140mm - but difficult to see from the image how deep the profile is.

I'm going to keep looking.
