Now I have just a few questions about this build.

  • If I was to buy it as is and got everything delivered, when I start to build it will I have everything I need for it all to fit together minus a screwdriver .etc?
  • Will this PSU be enough to power all of this?
  • Will the CPU be bottlenecking the GPU?
  • Any way I could make it 8 quid cheaper keeping the same performance :P?

Here is the build:

Thanks for all your help! :D

Well, I'm not all that bothered abut dx11. All the games I want to play are Dx10.1 and I'm sure games will support it for a long time to come. a 4890 is roughly the same price but has better performance so thats why I chose it.

In many tests the 5770 outperforms the 4890 by a fair margin. the main things the 4890 has over it is it has more bandwidth. While they are both good cards the 5770 gets my vote :)

Best bet is to take averages....

Sum of FPS Benchmarks 1680x1050
with anti aliasing, 4AA
(High Quality) ------ 4890 ----- 260 ----- 5770
Score in FrameGo -- 459.50---- 449.50---- 406.60

Sum of FPS Benchmarks 1920x1200
with anti aliasing, 4AA
(High Quality) ------ 4890 ----- 260 ----- 5770
Score in FrameGo -- 364.20---- 317.50---- 311.20
