Also would I be alright using the retail cpu cooler or would you recommend a better one? I am not planning on overclocking immediatly but might do in the future

Personally I would get a seagate hard drive and a nvidia card but other than that it looks fine. How about order 2 of everything and send me the second lot

edit: retail coolers are meant to be good, someone I know has overclocked his 2.13ghz allendale (think it was 2.13) with his retail cooler to over 3ghz

The retail heatsink will, as far as I know, allow for a little overclocking but nothing major.

Everything looks fine as far as I can tell, but I would highly suggest you get rid of the Maxtor and go for one of the new Seagate 7200.10 drives. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Seagate_SATA.html

Maxtor aren't known for their reliability.
