Final check on this spec...

are you planning on sli in future? if so you'll want to think about a 'bigger' psu, it may handle it bu alays nice to have some 'head room' for overclocking, future upgrades etc.

I've already checked everything with him in another thread.

All i can say is I have one here (showed you the thread) and its been faultless, easy overclocking, perfect recovery from bad overclocks that are unstable.

But the UD3P should behave the same as it to has the DualBIOS etc.

I am leaning towards the Z68X-UD3P simply for the £20 saving... £500 was my original limit, so I'm well over that LOL, so anything I can shave off it is useful. Seems VERY little between these two boards in terms of real world performance.

Theres not much more to cut back on, apart from that Antec PSU I mentioned earlier, but thats only £10 saved.

A Corsair force 120GB SSD is another £17 saved. It is that bit slower though.

if the colour doesn't but you off you could go swap the the cooler to the antec kuhler 620(£41) which is £1 more plus swap the ram to the s skill ripjawx(£39) which £3 less, so overall you save £2 and as the saying goes 'every little helps' :)

Do either of these boards come with a Sata-3 cable do u know, or will they just be Sata-2? Wondering if I need to add one to my list.
