Right - about to press Buy - just a final to check to make sure this lot is all ok....

Price difference between the E6300 and E6400 is £13 - Does it not make more sense to get the E6400?

Please correct me if I'm wrong - i'm out of touch with what clocks well etc at the moment.

Ah ok - just keep getting more and more confused each time I post a spec.

Just want confirmation that what I've chosen is going to work well together.

Fed up of chaging specs every two minutes! :confused:

Of course if your not overclocking then the e6400 would be a better choice, but IMO having a Conroe and not clocking it is like telling the Pope not to pray.

so what you are saying is that the E6400 wont clock as well?

Put it this way - I'm using a stock A64 3000 at the moment and that more than does the job.
