I was all ready to go for i5, but I have been offered a very cheap Phenom II 955, so its inclusion in the price check is just for cosmetic purposes. Could you please tell me what you think as I'm hoping to order tonight. What I think I really need help with is the choice of motherboard, the ram and cpu cooler.
Am I expecting too much by trying to fit all of this onto a Micro ATX? Would the cpu cooler probably be too big? If it is too big, I'm generally looking for a reasonably small and quiet cooler (as I don't intend to overclock for a while) and if it has the option to add a quiet 120mm fan later, then even better.
If the board is unsuitable, would either the the Gigabyte GA-MA785GT-UD3H and the Asus M4A79XTD Evo be suitable?

I think I remember reading that by default, AMD cpus run better at higher voltage than Intel chips. Is this true or have I got that completely wrong? Anyway, here is the speck:
