well, again I have shifted my thoughts and come up with the following spec. As you can guess I am kind of going for a black/silver theme!
My main concern is whether I have overspent on the mobo. However, I am looking for built in wifi, usb 3.1 and like the idea of the dual M:2 ports on the deluxe board.
I think I will look at getting a costing from OCUK for making it up rather than me blowing some expensive components up. Although I have built my pcs in the past, none have cost anything like this one.
The Inno 980Ti X3 Ultra looked interesting I thought with its factory overclock.

A few pointers.

• Your choice of M.2 SSD is not the best, it is not an NVME drive from what I can tell meaning its not much faster than a regular SATAIII SSD.

This one is NVME - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/sams...state-drive-mzvpv256hdgl-00000-hd-213-sa.html

• There are board+CPU bundle deals - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/pc-components/processors/bundle-deals

or even an 8pack approved bundle with ram, cooler, nvme drive etc - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/8pac...4125mhz-gigabyte-x99-gaming-5p-bu-023-gi.html

Thanks for that stulid, that was actually the one I was looking for.
I had a look at the bundles and will see what I think - I have read great things about the X99 Deluxe board.

The Palit Super Jetstream is a nice looking card with a Black/Silver design.

I would drop the SSHD and just go with a regular HDD as you have a separate SSD.

The retail cpu is only £5 more and you get the extra 2 years warranty.

The H110i GT should perform a bit better than the H100i GTX due to the bigger radiator/fans.

Good point regarding the sshd drive - every penny saved helps. I also didn't know the difference between the retail and oem cpus either.
As for graphics, there are so many cards out there that it seems to be a little like sticking a random pin in the list! I have seen god things written about the EVGA G1 card.

Well, I have created an amended spec based on a couple of recommendations (thanks to everyone on here).
I have been recommended not to go with the silent base 800 due to restricted cooling for a roof mounted radiator and so have gone for the Fractal R5, an updated R4 which I have at the moment. (great case).
I also specced the retail cpu, a normal HDD rather than SSHD, got the NVME M.2 SSD, and changed the graphics card to the Plait superjet after looking at online reviews (again!). Plus, I think it looks cool!
