final criticism i7 build

I've been mulling over this for the past week, asking various questions here, gauging what others think that have more experience than myself...

My requirements have changed, so i need something with a bit more uumph..

I'm ensuring im 4k and VR ready.. Will be getting a 4k monitor in a couple of months when i get some interest in my tri-screens..

Gaming and rendering...

Will be fully water cooled but thats a seperate order once ive layed it out in the case so i know what parts and fittings i require.

This is what im looking at buying, im open to criticism and opinions, if something could be tweaked or improved on, im open to it..

One of the first things someone might notice, is ive used the 5930k instead of the 5820k for the use of the 40 PCI-Express Lanes, incase i choose to throw in a 3rd GPU..

The 5820K can do 3 way SLI.

For that price, I'd just add on the other £300 for the 5960x XD

But otherwise I'd go with this case instead: purely as I've got it - looks cooler than the 900D and it's got better reviews AND it won case of the year + runner up year after 2014/2015. (And it's £100 cheaper)

Wouldn't do 3 way sli on a 6 core anyway would stick to 2 way or go for the 8 core with 3/4way. He would probably need a bigger psu at that point as well.

Its more to do with the number of PCIe lanes available.

The majority of boards will do x8/x8/x8 which leaves x4 for the 950 Pro SSD. I personally wouldn't do 3 way SLI anyway, as you get diminishing returns on the 3rd card.

3 way isn't as bad as you make out and is the best for constant high frames at 4k.

Scaling isn't that great on most games with 3 way SLI.

I would get a 1440p monitor rather than 4k, gaming at 60hertz isn't an option for me, you may be happy with that.

First wave of goodies arrived today... got to wait on OCUK to get the next batch on EVGA 980ti hydro coopers in before i can have my gpu's..

just sat calculating my budget for the new monitor... looking at a 4k, curved and superwide one...
