Final Fantasy 7 Re-release

No worries, I was quite surprised when I read about it too - thought it would be hyped up loads first - sneaky release! lol

And its only £8 instead of £10 atm too, depending how much I spend on food shopping this eve, I may buy it later :)

Already have it on the PS3, certainly not going to buy it again for achievements and a magical "I'm **** but let me win anyway" button.

However, I'm certainly glad it's now more widely available.
 
Ah thank you, I read about this few weeks ago but completely forgot. I was excited though! Wish they would release FF8 in a more modern format also.
 
Does it support modern resolutions such as 1920x1080 and 2560x1440?

Does the 360 pad work with it?

That Character Booster button is utter fail though, what's wrong with good old fashioned cheat codes for those who suck?
 
There are very few games I'd pay money for without having a clue what the quality of the product is going to be.

The lack of info on whether it does support modern resolutions suggests that it probably doesn't - that's something a lot of people would be interested in - so to hope for anything such as HD or graphical improvements would be totally foolish. I just hope at the very least it's a proper port of the PSX version rather than a digital copy of the dodgy PC version. It'll certainly support a 360 pad, though

Anyone who has managed to get this up and running can you please give us a little details or screenshots please?

Very tempted to buy this game again (4th time I guess). Least my original PC copy can sit pretty on the shelf now and I will no longer get angry having to configure that ****.

Sounds pretty reasonable enough when you consider it's all the data from the discs and FMVs. Though if I remember correctly, a certain infamous "modified PC version" was just less than that right?

I will certainly do plenty of that once I get it downloaded(I gave priority to Sleeping Dogs earlier, so I have 1/2hour left to download).

No doubt it will not look that much better than before, but I am not really bothered, as I just want it for my laptop, and do not have a copy since I sold my PSP
