Final Fantasy 8: Pc Help Please.

Hi there been playing this on my Pc for sometime, im trying to find "Remedy+" items for the GF Doomtrain. FAQ's say that they can be refined from remedys using the Med-Lvup ability from Alexander but this isnt avaliable and ive gained all his other abilities.

If there a different way of doing things on the Pc than on the PS?
 
Sometimes GF's can learn more abilities than they have slots, try removing some of their abilities with "amnesia greens" and see if it unlocks any more abilities for him.

Used to know every thing there was to know about FF8, forgot a lot over the years though :(
 
i played this game back in the late 90s when it first came out for ps1, cant remember much but i remmeber a lot of fun and a very hard ending (big castle thingy with lots of boses?) i feel like getting it again. Is the PC version the same as ps1?

I think the playstation version is probably a bit better, and I imagine easier to get it to work on a modern PC than the actual PC version. Square's PC ports have always been sloppy at best.

hehe, aye. I remember watching my mate trying to kill Omega Weapon and wipe 3 times in a row then I killed it first go, I still wind him up with that to this day.

Probably not significantly. It can probably run in a higher resolution, but since the backgrounds are pre-rendered images they won't change. Only the characters will look a bit sharper.
