Final Fantasy 9 for PSN!

Coming soon apparantly to the Japanese PSN, which will undoubtably lead it to be released on the EU/NA PSN at some point. Really chuffed, been waiting for this for a while

Here's hoping FFX follows it at some point!

Look forward to somewhere around 4-6 months then.

And FFX on the PSN? Yeah, right! Until we know that PS2 classic titles are finally readily avaliable, then there is no chance for that.

Now if only we can get Final Fantasy Tactics and Xenogears. But hey, at least we got Vagrant Story which still isn't even on the U.S PSN yet. So lucky us!

i wish there was a way to resize the screen on ps1 games like you can when you play them on psp, its the borders that make me hate getting the pal version

Final Fantasy 9, was that the one where you could take on Grand Dragons early and use Death to kill them and level up very easily?

I remember the Grand Dragons, they were up by the two Moogle's in a small room, you got up with a ladder I think. Not sure on the Death thing though.

Niiice, The card came I couldnt figure out at all!

Be rather nice of Square if they put I through IX on a nice Blu Ray for us too...Ahh one can hope

It should be a DVD.

EDIT- Nevermind. I misread that as only IX on Blu-Ray LOL!

I never did get to play Crono Cross, but I'd love to play Trigger again, and Seiken Densetsu 3. Very glad about IX coming out.

This is probably sacrilege to lots of people but FF9 is the only one I didn't like! Still, i'm pleased to see they are continuing to release these popular old games.

I have my FF9 discs, manual, cover etc in mint condition

Would still buy it off the PSN store since I can just play it on my PS3 then.

Screw FF9 I want Front Mission 3

It's been up on the Japanese PSN for ages, but as usual they can't be arsed with the EU... I wouldn't even mind if they put it up on the US PSN then atleast I could play it in English. I can't get it working Unofficially on my PSP due to an animation/sound bug that makes the game crash when you destory a unit that has had it's legs already destoryed, so there is no other way around it except to buy it which I would have no problem with if they would just release the damn thing!

I don't understand why they won't just release all their PS1 classics on the PSN, It's a win win situation aswell because they would make money and fans can then play their favourite PS1 games on the go, but no all we get is Final Fantasy as usual

Any PS3 should play PS1 games, it's the PS2 games that don't work on the majority of PS3's.
