Is it confirmed that all we are getting is Midgard?
We haven't seen Yuffie or Vincent have we? Let alone Cid.
In fact, looking at the trailer, it's nigh on everything I've just experienced in the original, having just left Midgar.
There's not a single bit in there I couldn't place, bar maybe the additional Sephiroth scenes, but logically Sephiroth is in the Shinra HQ towards the end of the segment, as he takes Genova so it'll just be Shinra HQ.
So not confirmed then. But yeah I get what you mean.
There's nothing so far to signify it's anything more than Midgar, unless it's the greatest bait and switch ever performed (Although I don't know why, because at the moment it's nullifying interest)
The entire trailers are all based on Midgar.
I'm guessing, and purely guessing, there's gonna be loads of typical RPG stuff going on. Quests, loot, etc. Diving into Avalanche characters more could be interesting, especially now they have real faces.
Charging £50 for just the Midgar 30hrs would be fine, if we didn't have to wait ages for the next bit.
So, we'd be playing a game that isn't FF7 ?
Hah. It's hard to tell what we're getting!
i'm skipping this until all 3 parts are out, could be another 20yrs for part 2 and 3
They haven't confirmed how many parts it will be.
well it'll at least be that then if not more, may pick up the 1st part when it's on the cheap, no hurry waited this long
I'M IN WORK D: WHYYYYYYYYYYY NOT ON THE WEEKEND BEFORE D:
Thats my night sorted!
Didn't expect it this soon, I hadn't seen any announcements, there goes my day.
Amazing. Set it to download while I'm at work, should get an hour or 2 in tonight.
They probably got bored of all their social media posts getting spammed with where's the demo.
Looks like the demo is an extended version of what I played at EGX last year.
Ha true, does look bloody nice though.
Mixed feelings after playing the demo. Combat is horrible, in both classic and normal mode. The rest of it seems great but the combat system completely ruins the feel of the game Demo is pretty short too, looks pretty decent but feels more like an action game now rather than RPG.
Weirdly that might suit me better.
I can't remember ever enjoying a JRPG.
I do like Zelda, Dark Souls and Sekiro though.
