I found a game shop in Exeter the other day with two pre-owned copies of FF7 in stock.

The price? £25 each. :o

That's what I got mine for, And the place.

Annoying thing is, I had the original game when it was first out, Before the platinum disks, With the original art work printed on the disks, And i kinda wish I'd looked after them better :(

I have 8 and 9 original versions. Not 7 though

my favorite game of all time. mostly because of the music, i can remember how every tune goes (my favorite being barretts theme). :) i would love a remake, provided they kept it text based, and slightly updated the music score. leave the story as it is. for sure, its what made the original sooo good. i spent well over two hundred hours on one sitting. getting everything. my three main chars were cloud, cid and vincent. the materia system was also awesome, especially whoring the elixir pots with w-item, and those orange balls in north cave, i thought, now we're cookin :D uber stats on the way lol. i hated getting three ribbons, off tonberry's. damn that was hard. argh im gonna have to start a new save now! usually start a new one every year. my original ps1 discs are still in good nick.
 
I loved FFVII, but I really liked Aeris and spent a lot of time leveling her before I found out about her death, so I didn't want to get up to that point. Eventually, my boyfriend took the controller away from me and did it himself, so I went in a huff and stopped playing :p.

I think my team was Cloud, Tifa and Aeris, I did have Vincent and Yuffi, but I didn't like them.
 
Awesome on epic proportions.

I no longer own a console to play it, but I still own my copy of the game (non platinum one).

My top 3 were:

Cloud
Red XIII
Vincent.
 
my top 3 FF games would be 7, 10 and then 8.Im tempted to buy 8 and 9 again as i never finished them :( and ive just found my old trusty ps1 :D

Nothing, I don't want to see a remake.

They'll probably ruin it so I'd rather they kept it in the past where we can remember it for its greatness.

Nice, I am collecting every FF game (any release) in mint condition also, long long way to go yet, only have VII, VIII, IX, X, X-2, XII.

Oh and Crisis Core pre-ordered for PSP :D

I still have the original, same one I brought the day ff7 came out; in perfect condition. thats never being sold. :)
