Why is this game on the 360 so much cheaper than all the others?

In woolworths;

FF IX £29.99

All other 360 games £44.99

Whats that all about?

Probably because it's a rather old game they're just trying to milk some more revenue out of. And it has a monthly subscription.

Ported games often cost less.. but then you still get suckered with a ~£8 sub fee. It looks the same as the PC version to me... although its supposed to have an increased draw distance. I guess you need them side by side to tell the difference.

Yeah, it's because you have to pay a subscription to actually play it. To be honest they should be selling it for a lot less than £30.

It also comes without Achievement points apparently?
Not that it bothers me, but I thought it was in Microsofts plan of action to have them in ALL titles on the Xbox360. Surely it wouldn't have been that hard to incorporate some?

I'm not getting it as it doesn't interest me, I love all the Final Fantasy games I've played, but this one just doesn't do it for me. Hopefully they make another MMORPG from the Final Fantasy realm that's going to blow me away.
