Anyone still playing this at all ?

Me and a mate just started playing again now that you can level really fast. Gone from 1-30 on two jobs , subjob quest, and choco quest all in 2 days lol :)

Said you can hit 95 now within a week to two.

Just a heads up in case you ever wanted to try it and you can get through steam now.

On the Leviathan server if anyone did fancy it.
 
It is solo friendly.

Lots of stuff can be solo'd and duo'd now :)

Due to the field manuals and FOV's etc (books that make you kill things there give loads of exp).

Played at the weekend and have white mage and red mage both at level 30 in about 8 hours of play time.

Only £8.99 now and you get the special hat that gives you instant regen and reraise.

If you die before 30 now you don't loose any exp either :)

Anyway, if anyone does decide to play it, start on the Leviathan server and I can get you in a linkshell and help you to level up quickly. Character is also called Simmz.

You can level sync now so now matter what level someone is, you can sync to the lowest persons level and play together.
 
Worth it though just for ;)

Nowadays though it's supposed to have improved massively, you can solo all the way I've heard.

It's still massively better than FFXIV at least.

Yeah it all changed when the Abyssea was launched late 2010. Like a completely different game now.

I'm waiting for them to sort 14 out as well, so for the time being it is good old 11.

Good thing is you can get to a high level fast, then just go through the story line which is what I plan on doing.

Never got a chance to finish chains of promathia, and the story in that was amazing!

Cool, well if you do go on Leviathan server then send a tell to Simmz.

To be fair you could start a whm level to 30 in about 4 hours, get subjob quest and Summoner then my link shell could help you get all the summons. :)

Hi Gackt,

Glad to see you are going to make a return to the game :)

Remember to start on the Leviathan server and I can get you into a linkshell that has around 30 people in it and a good chunk are from the UK.

Gil is fairly easy to get once you can get into the Abyssea. Can easily make 300k an hour. Thing is in the early levels you really won't need much cash.

Levels 1-30 will be in the noob gear so no need to buy stuff other than spells and maybe an updated weapon (worth getting the leather armour, or chainmail at level 10 and it is cheap as vendor sold).

But yeah 1-15 you will solo. Just go into wild and get field manual quest. Will take you about an hour or or 2 to hit 15. After 15 head to gusgen mines and join people there. Usually some sort of alliance going on. Will then level you to 30 in about 3 hours and you should get a magical skull for subjob quest. After that get the other 2 items from the dunes and complete sub job quest.

Next thing would be to hit Jeuno do the chocobo quest and unlock your paladin if that is what you want to play. No need to unlock subjob at 18 or keep your subjob half the level straight away these days.

Then take Paladin to 60 and get your artifact armour.

Can easily do all of that within a week that's how fast it is :)
