Did anyone have problems signing up for the beta?

I bought it for the PS3 and when I registered on the Square Enix website I got a promotional code I used the link provided to sign up for the beta test, I have entered the code 100% correct (without spaces as it says) and after submitting the form I get this error;

The promotional code is incorrect. Please verify your code and then enter it again.

I have done this about 5 times now and I am positive everything is correct.

Did anyone else have trouble?
 
I had trouble the first time because I put spaces in like a plum, although second time without spaces it worked straight away. Maybe you unfortunately ended up with a possible duped code or a bad code due to a printing error.
 
it registered me no problems but i have no idea when the PS3 beta is due to begin or when they plan to start issuing codes as i would love to get into this as i love the idea of a massive console mmorpg.
 
Yes Chris I'm having a similar issue which may have screwed my account. Apparantly you cant log in no more with accounts made before March 1st or something and you have to use you Square Enix ID account to log in or some rubbish.

It's got me really confused tbh.

Edit: Ended up cancelling my original account that I signed up for beta with in December and made a new account which appears to work fine.

Chris and R34P3R, I had to make an extra account on the square enix website that you are directed to to sign up for the beta, compared to the account i signed up for when registering ffxiii, the first account wouldnt let me log in.

ill try to enter it manually this time

edit: it worked after entering manually - hmm, strange.

It would appear they have really screwed these account things up.

I made a new account which I had to use a different email address, after creating i tried to change email address to the original and it says its already registered.

I tried to do password recovery for that account (even though I cancelled it) and it says it's not registered with an account.... make your bloody mind up!
 
Having the same problem Se7ven, Entered manually, Didn't make a difference

Edit: it's worked now. eh
