Final Fantasy XV

Couldn't find a topic for this here but it's the first FF game ive invested over 5 hours in since FF X-2.


Just wondering what are peoples thoughts on this? I'm still not sucked in even though I've played 10 hours, (probably only 5 hours of story but I cant work out fast travel fully)

Least with the Witcher 3 you're sucked in after maybe 2 hours...

Brought it for the PS4 a while back having loved the FF series in general, but stopped playing after a couple of hours. Even after a few updates it still felt slow on PS4 and I wasn't a fan of the combat system, far prefer the ATB system we've had before. Don't know if its because I didn't give it long enough but the story felt lacking as well and I'm not convinced that FF fits in to a open world environment.

All said, I have brought it again on the PC in the recent Steam sale so I'll probably give it another try.

I am a FF fan and I went into this with zero expectations. I found it a bit shallow but it was stunning visually in places. The story is ok at the end, it's a good rpg in my opinion but an average FF.

I completed it, because its an FF game, but I didn't love it.
