Nice, same chip as mine. I had it on 2.5GHz on my stupid MSI motherboard. It sucks for Overclocking, waiting for my DFI then 3GHz here I come :D.

How many Volts through CPU and RAM?

there could be a number of explanations for it i guess :
1) he's on very very poor phase
2) he's on very good water cooling
3) he hasn't properly stressed his cpu (i.e. through prime or toast or anything)
4) he's lying ;)

and i also have 8 case fans and my pc sounds like a hoover :p

and yes i did run prime 95 enough it was on for about 6-8 hours when i checked the temps surely thats enough :confused:

and tbh i dont really care if you believe me or not ;)

whoa i'm not accusing you of lying i was just joking buddy, but for the benefit of all the hardcore enthusiasts could you post a screeny? that's a nice oc, quite high volts tho

Yea they are high volts but its the only way to get passed 2.4ghz :p

Volts are lies because ive checked with cpuz and they show 1.66

yeah I'd say those temps are a bit generous too.

if I put 1.6v through my opty at 2.5 I get 39'c load on water. You really need a thermal probe on the CPU to be accurate, or at least check if the Easytune program is reporting correctly.
