Hi all,

Here is hopfully my final pick for my water cooling setup
This is what am cooling :-
Asus Maximus Formula (with 3/8) watercooler on board
intel Q6600 2.4 @ 3.6 (hope)
4x1mb Crucial Ballistix Tracer 5-5-5-15
Powercolor 3870 512MB
620W Corsair PSU
320GB WD Sata
2 dvd wr

Here is the water cooling bits
XSPC X2O Delta
XSPC Dual 750 Bay Reservoir & Pump
EK HD 3870 GPU Water Block
Alphacool NexXxoS Xtreme lll Rev2 Triple Radiator
8 X EK 3/8" Hose fitting
XSPC 3/8" High Flexibility PVC Tubing - 3m
Fluid - water & Anti-Freeze

Would just like to know :-
1) is a 620w psu good enough
2) will the X20 Delta fit on the m/b as i read maximus is quite tight
3) have I made any bad errors in my cooling bits that ive matched

Thanks

As above, XSPC make some great w/c gear, but the parts you have chosen from them are not their strongest performers.

I assume that you have opted for 3/8 to match to the NB on your mobo. Bear in mind that CPU, NB and GFX will be quite restrictive.

XSPC X2O Delta - OK performer but consider the Fuzion
XSPC Dual 750 Bay Reservoir & Pump - I would really think about changing this to a stronger pump, possibly a DDC and XSPC DDC res
EK HD 3870 GPU Water Block - Good, but so is the XSPC RAzor
Alphacool NexXxoS Xtreme lll Rev2 Triple Radiator - If you can fit thermochill and can afford, do so. XSPC RS series look like a good alternative too
8 X EK 3/8" Hose fitting OK
XSPC 3/8" High Flexibility PVC Tubing - 3m OK
Fluid - water & Anti-Freeze Distilled plus some anti-algae stuff might be better.

I don't know for sure if the XSPC delta block will fit your mobo, but the Fuzion with the pro-mount is certainly the least obtrusive out there.

hmm,
XSPC RAzor - Not Sure if this will fit the powercolor 3870
XSPC Dual 750 Bay Reservoir & Pump - Not sure why this isnt as good as the DDC and XSPC DDC res > as this pump pushes a woping 750lph & has a head room of 1.8m (please Explain)

some thing else was talking to someone who has a custom water setup he says 1/2" is better than 3/8" is this ture or is he full of it

thanks
