Final Preview of IE 9

I wonder if we are looking at a autumn release of IE9. Would be nice

I'd be amazed if it was that soon.
Just trying to recall when IE8 actually launched, it doesn't seem like that long ago.
Anyway HTML5 stuff out there, that would be good, sooner flash alternatives arrive the better, just need people to code with it in mind.

It could be October-ish 2010 ... maybe ...

IE's grip is due to it's very successful business software and support. Despite a rise in freeware by some public administrations most large corporate and public bodies are still heavily involved with ie. Hence it's huge user base.

I know that, was just pointing out the huge error in the statement "most people use Firefox , Chrome etc.. "

IE9 does well on tests developed within Microsoft? Shocker! :p

I prefer html5test.com for testing HTML5/CSS3 features. The latest IE9 gets 96/300. Latest Opera gets 159. Firefox dev gets 199. Chrome dev gets 216.

Really getting fed up of firefox I used to be a opera fan but changed to firefox when it stoped displaying pages properly. Thinking of finally giving chrome a good try untill ie9 as thats looking good.

I stopped using IE8 because it kept forgetting my logins for forums such as this one. Unless that's fixed in IE9 I'll be sticking with Chrome.

Do you run ccleaner often?
Only time ie8 loses my login is after secuirty updates where thye purposely clear that region for security purposes. Haven't had it happen in many many months.

I knew some smart **** would say that which is why I added the quote above it for context. :p
