Final scratch alternatives?

With my first salary i wanna buy a final scratch type system, but not the actual real one, because it's simply a sound card made by the guys and sold three times the actual price of a good external sound card.

I found an alternative software, http://djdecks.be/, some friends owns it along a sound card M-Audio 66 or something like that.

Any of you guys had any experience? Basically i'd need advices on a good external sound card with a few in/out for the decks. Also if you had any experiences with another software than djdecks!

guess i did not explain very well!
I want to use my turntables to play mp3 using timecoded vinyl :)

to this effect i need advices on :
which external soundcard to buy
which software to get
 
Well thats nice but it's pack, coming with soft + soundcard

what i want is to buy a nice external soundcard and use some software, this gives me more freedom. ie mixxx which is a open source software, hence it would cost me less $$$
 
okay thank you hyper, i already heard much good on the torq side, im going to investigate that ;)

I think you are quite right, a friend of mine did it but he got quite a few problems setting it up etc..

also another question, what about the latency? do you feel it when you play out? like when you "scratch" the vinyl do you feel the small delay in monitor for exemple, i experienced that on my friend device
 
after much investigation :p i think im going to get the torq system but use another software, it's really not expensive and good quality too, just the software seems a little bit rubish
