Any reason why you went for the Asus over the other cards? I would change the Seagate to a Samsung, they are a lot quieter. Seagates might be slightly faster but its hardly noticable, I'd opt for something that is quieter :)

the asus mobo seem to be the favourite when talking to others abut speccing...
 
I'd change to a Samsung as has been said and I'd change to the OcUK graphics card... which has also been said :p

I'm pretty sure he meant the 8800gts, there are cheaper versions that are identical in spec.

Not really sure about the motherboardm I'd get a DS3 but only because I'm clueless about the others :p
 
You can stretch to a 8800 gts 640mb version
320mb gts can be had for around £180 at the mo.
Drop the antec case for a lian li pc7+ and get a 640mb 8800 gts with the difference.Or maybe not if you need the psu lol.
 
Yeah I meant the 8800, as above you could get a 640MB for just another twenty of so quid. If money is no problem here go for a 640MB model otherwise I would get the cheapest available model in the 320MB range the boards are all the same just the stickers and slightly different clock speeds on some of them which you can alter yourself!

there are cheaper versions, but they are out of stock... i can source from else where but then have to pay extra postage.... so this makes sense for me..
 
Like I already said via email the other day there are other options < £180 inc postage but its entirely up to you - spend the extra money!!

oops, my bad.... others are out of stock.... can source elswhere but works out about the same when you add another delivery charge..

i have looked into the others you sent though.... they are out of stock of the cheaper versions...
 
lol not a good combination, plus that other thread "good lady wife just granted me an extra £100... what should i do" I think she'd be takin that £100 back ;)
