i already have antec 900-2 , xfx hd4850 xxx, and everythign else

what do you think my intial thought was to go for an e7400 and a p5q-e mobo

You'll need a cooler for your CPU as it's OEM. Also change the RAM for the Kingston. Finally, 600W is more than enough for your spec, you don't NEED 700W.

I was planning on buying one of those OCZ kits today as you can apparently overclock the nuts off them.. Plus they are only £66.99 ATM!

Why do you think the Kingston is better?

I was also under the impression that 1333Mhz is all one would ever need with i7..?

I said that because the Kingston was faster and only cost a little more, but not that the OCZ has been reduced, you might as well go for that. :)
