OK here's the basis of what I'm thinking of:

E6600 - Certain purchase - £50
POV 8800GT - Certain purchase - £30
OCZ 4GB - £45.99
CoolerMaster Dominator Case/CoolerMaster Real Power 520w PSU - £93.98
Asus PK5 Intel P35 - £66.99
Tuniq Tower 120 - £27.99
Samsung Spinpoint 250gb HDD - £42.29
Samsung Writemaster DVD/RW - £14
2 Purple Cold Cathode Neon Lights - £7 :)

I am undecided on if I need 4gb... maybe the 2gb would be sufficient...

Also, I'm not sure if I should go for the PK5 with WiFi or just continue using my WiFi USB dongle.....

Any comments or suggestions before I buy?

If your USB WiFi dongle works then I'd just use that, I've long since accepted that the less I have to mess with wireless products the better.

Some of the parts you are buying are remarkably cheap, I can only assume you are buying secondhand and from someone who either wants to give you a great deal or has no clue about what they are worth.

What OS are you going to be using? If XP then 2gb is easily enough for most uses, if Vista then 4gb might be a better option.

I think its all rubbish and you should just give me the contact details of your friends instead..... :)

I went from 2GB to 4GB RAM and actualy lost scores in 3DMark, but at that price they are worth it just to have and stick in.

I wouldn't buy the Hitachi Deathstar as a matter of principle tbh. Some people claim their days of high failure rates are over, but I don't see the point in taking the risk.
