Hi all

How does this look? Due to it being christmas and that i've just been paid thought i'd treat myself!

Got a case (Akasa Eclipse) 2 x Dell 2209WA, Keyboard etc so that's not a problem

Can't argue with that. Its all high end components.

Personally, I'd wait until more demanding games come out before spending anything close to £300 on a graphics card.

I've chosen that for the future-proofing purposes, I dont plan on upgrading for a good 3-4 years.

Haha, but really though...is there anything I should change? OEM processor perhaps as I'll be overclocking, different ram etc?

Do you already have a decent 500W+ PSU, optical disk drive and a 64bit operating system? If so you are golden, will be an awesome system.

720w Enermax Infiniti. DVD/DL Writer and W7 64 bit.

Spectrum is green! Ready to purchase I guess

Just noticed the Asus P6T is this weeks offer..choosing that over the Gigabyte would that be a good choice or should I stick? Would save me a bit of cash too!

If it saves you cash then go for it. (Going to be hated for this next comment) At the end of the day it does the same thing ;)

If you've had a good experience with them and the reviews are good then why change to manufacturers? Stick with what you know is good I guess :)

I have an ASUS board, no problems at all. But if I could buy again, I would go for the Gigabyte UD5. The UD5 is a wonderful board for overclocking, has loads of features and Giagbye RMA is better than ASUS so I hear.

I think i'll stick with the UD5 tbh, I know it's a bit extra cash but from reviews it seems amazing and I'd prefer to have a better RMA service.

Also; is it worth changing the standard fan that comes with the H50 to a better one? not sure on which fans are good!
