So here's my final spec which I'm ordering today. Just looking for any final thoughts on bits that I could tweak. It will be used for some light gaming ie Hearthstone, Sim City and also for work so it'll be running Visual Studio (which is why I've gone for 16GB RAM). The upper limit is £1000 and if you're so inclined I wouldn't mind some suggestions on a fairly cheap k+m and also some speakers (not included in the budget)
So here it is:

Get the H105 instead of the H100i as there is compatibility problems with the software that comes with the H100i and Windows 8.1 atm
There should be a fix out soon-ish I would expect though

You can do better than an R9 280X for £1k :)

Yes I will be using win 8.1. I heard there was a sort of fix for the h100i software if you changed some of the registry settings?

Nice spec shivy although I was wondering how does the seasonic compare to the superflower in the original spec?

There is, but I'm not so sure if it's worth the hassle doing all of that when you could plug and play with a H105/Antec 1250 sort of deal. You get better performance with the H105 anyway, so I'd stick with that unless you really wanted the link stuff/colour changing LED etc

Second question I think both are great (Seasonic may only be bronze rated but has excellent internals and covers you for crossfire/SLI), but stulid is the man to ask for that probably, no experience with either

The only way I have found to make the H100i work is,

For the fans - remove the USB cable while running and refit it, then restart the system.

The pink LED issue - install an older version of the Link software that allows manual updating of the firmware, update/rollback the firmware to a previous version, then install the newer Link software and keep it from updating the firmware to newer one.

Are you going to be using windows 8/8.1?

Is this bundle to expensive for you or do you want cheap cheap and cheaper?

I like this bundle a lot but I'm conscious it's just going to get replaced around christmas time so I'm not sure if it's too much for a few months. Anything a little cheaper maybe around £30-£40

Yeah I've seen a few different solutions for the link software but to be perfectly honest it was the prospect of using the led in the h100i that was making me lean that way

The 290 comes with £80 worth of free RAM though, which you could sell for about £70 and recoup the money, which is excellent value

Also, I'd be getting the Seasonic PSU - it's awesome value and will cover you for future SLI/Crossfire

Get a wireless dongle not a card, I believe the cards are quite complex and hard to set up sometimes, dongles much easier

otherwise looks good if you're willing to faff around with Corsair Link/Win 8.1 :)
