Need to keep it down below £250, so are there any improvements that can be made.

Is it worth putting in a cheap graphics card, if so what would you advise, passively cooled to keep it quiet.

If you can spend £30 more get 1GB of ram this will make your system fast and windows will load quicker and the system will not be slow.
He's got 1GB ram, 2 sticks of 512mb. It works out cheaper to buy 2 lots of 512MB sticks seperatly rather than the 1GB together.

Looks good, the intergrated graphics will be fine if your only using it for internet and office use etc. A cheap graphics card wouldn't make any difference to the speed of windows so it's not worth it.
