Okay guys, tonight is the night! Got my bonus money through today and i'm off to spend it just need some final bits of advice. This is the main spec i have but this was originally for £820 and i now can upgrade a little to £1000:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+
Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro CPU Cooler
Asus A8R-MVP Crossfire (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard
2GB (2x1GB) PC3200 Value Dual Channel Kit
PowerColor ATI Radeon X1800 XT 512MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
Western Digital Caviar SE16 250GB 2500KS SATA-II 16MB Cache
16x16 DVD±RW Dual Layer LabelFlash ReWriter (Black) - OEM
Antec P180

Still undecided on the PSU, even though you all gave me ideas of what to go for, which will be quiet but have the cables long enough to reach all areas of the case?

What else can i afford to upgrade to take me up to a grand???

Cheers guys!

added the 4200 and x1900, any better, don't know about the graphics card though, is this a good one??

If you're overclocking drop the 4200 and just go for the 3800 and clock it right up to 2.6-2.8GHz. PSU wise I would recommend a good quality 450W+.

okay, maybe i'll downgrade the cpu.

How's about the graphics card and this PSU??
Tagan TG530-U22 530W ATX2.01 2Force SLi Compliant Silent PSU (CA-005-TG)

GPU wise I would go Powercolor as it's the cheapest and the card themselves are all identical, the only difference is the bundle.

PSU is a good choice.

Yep, the PoweColor X1900XT is the cheapest so go for that.

Also, you might aswell get the Tagan 580W as it's only £9 more (this week) and you will need that extra power when you crossfire (I presume you will crossfire given that you're buying the Asus A8R-MVP)

okay so this is the final edit, can someone just quickly make sure that i have actually selected the right products:
