Great spec.... everything will work fine together, the only thing I would change is the Accelero X2 for the Zalman VF900cu
 
Everything looks good, it is all compatible. You might not need the GPU cooler at all as the stock cooler is supposed to be decent plus it vents the air externally but there isn't much harm in buying it I suppose :)
 
changing the corsair to g.skill HZ as heard is compatiable with DS4 board and overclocks better than corsair. Updated in specs
 
Ok i will go for corsair to be honest i haven't heard of g.skill as well known corsair is cheaper as well ;) .

Instead of starting a new topic will i need any additional screws or cables or will they all come with the components above?
 
the sata cables come with the mobo. If you are buying case fans then you will need to buy screws for them because i brought a fan and presumed any screw will fit but they dont it has to be a little fat one. so had to nick the screws off my old system!! :D

Akasa Amber Series come with screws & 3-4 pin adaptor :)

So i only need an additional SATA II cable? I take it fans come with the case yes? What about on the power side of things will i need a power splitter, or 3 to 4 pin connector?

No- SATA cables come with the motherboard.

Depends on the case :) EDIT: Just looked at the case and yes it comes with two fans- a 120mm one and an 80mm one.

You get two fans with the case, a 120mm one and an 80mm one and they should come with the necessary connectors/adapters e.g. 3 to 4 pin if needed.

You don't need to buy a SATA II cable, there is no difference between the data transferred down the SATA cable you get with a motherboard and one(any) labelled as SATA II.

Everything you need in terms of cabling/power etc should be taken care of by what is in the box for retail products.
 
no fans dont come with the case you have to buy them and screw them on. here is a good one (you will need about 2 one blowing hot air out of the comp and one sucking cold air in, this is archieved by putting the fans the opposite way arround.

actually fans may come with a barebones system if you are having one of them but cant say for sure. i have only presumed that you want a 3-pin 120mm fan you could have a 4-pin and a 80mm and 92mm :D
 
Will E6600 overclock well with a DS4? As i thought DS4 was the best as it has extra cooling etc, but someone says gigabyte DS3 and DS4 overclocks better with E6300 and E6600 overclocks better with an ASUS board. Can someone confirm as to what motherboard i should actually get?
