Hello!

Am about to buy this:

pc.jpg

(Total £1,080.83 inc VAT)

But want to check it over with you guys first. Is there anything you would change? My only worry really was the motherboard, i'll be overclocking so is there a better motherboard out for that? Don't mind spending a bit more on that....

I'll be using the pc mainly for gaming, a bit of a media centre, and some light video encoding (not enough to warrant a quad core tho).

Thanks for any help:D

Okay, decided to swap for the P5Q-E.

As for the chip, how much further would I be able to clock the E8600 than the 8400/8500? Don't mind saving money, solong as I don't loose performance!

Thanks for the replies:D:D

Have had a look around and it seems that with a slight bit of modification you can fit a 280gtx into the anter p182. Will probably go with that, as it's meant to be fairly silent (especially with the noctua fans), and has filters....Unless anyone cares to spec me a larger, silent, not ridiculously overthetop case?

Also, does anyone know how much further a e8600 will clock than a e8400/8500?
The main reason i'm leaning towards the e8600 is that it's definately E0 and by my reasoning should overclock higher as i'm increasing the fsb by a lower percentage than the e84/8500 to achieve the same clock. Unless the chips have a limit and the e8600 is just closer to that?

Thanks again ppl:D And Merry Christmas!!!! (and happy winter solstice the TRUE winter celebration!!!!)
