Getting ready to order and just wanted some advice on the following.

I don't do much gaming, just want to have several apps running at once.

What improvements should I make?
Is everything compatible?
Have I forgotten anything?
Is the case worth it?

you've got a very similar spec to mine lol (check my thread on how it's all going wrong lol)

anyways, i would ditch the raptor, change the caviar to a spinpoint f1 1tb, and for the ram, get this:

P.S: If you want a fast hdd for OS, which i think is the reason you got a raptor, i'd save money in other areas, and get a small ssd.

if not, just partition your 1TB hdd, as it's fast enough on it's own.

your ram isn't compatible with your motherboard, same ram and mobo i got today lol

Further to Minato's comment, this RAM has a better chance of working in that board.

TBH, i'm tempted to say new board.
This one is the same price (but has no SLI).
This one is £30 more, but has tonnes of features.
