I think I have finally made up my mind, what do you think of this:

Yea I realised that but I think the 4.20ghz is too expensive so I have went for the 4.00ghz version. I was tempted to save the money by getting seperates and overclock myself but since the final spec has come in under budget I thought id be lazy and get OCUK to do all the work for me.

Be aware that text etc will be small on that monitor, as it has a very high number of pixels per square inch.

personally when spending £1500 I'd want a SSD boot drive.

I know little about monitors, if I were you I'd have a look at posts in the Monitors subforum to see what people are recommending.

I have done that which is where the dell and samsung came from. How small are we talking? I changed to this monitor because I read that it is good for coding and multitasking aswell as gaming.

Well it's 16:9 rather than 16:10, so it's quite wide and not very tall. So maybe text won't be that much smaller than on a 24" 1920*1200. I do prefer 16:10 for general work though myself, it's personal preference though. Perhaps you could look at one in a shop?

If you find that it doesn't suit you, you can always return it under the DSA within a week of purchase, all it'll cost is postage.

Just noticed your comment about SSD. I was going to get SSD but then decided to blow the budget on graphics. I will get an SSD or 2 in a month or so tho.
