Well the time has come where i have saved up enough money and did well enough in my exams to bulid a new top of the range computer for the looks and speed :D.

Ive been looking about and reading up on things over the past six months (but been saving since xmas) on different things such as watercooling and a little case modding.

The computer will be mainly used for gaming @ 1680x1050 but in a few months time i will be upgrading to 1920x1200.

Ive already bought a few of the parts but heres the spec...

+£100-£200 for various different things podercoating, custom parts, dvd-RW... cba listing it all.

Well all that comes to just under £2500 and thats the max i can really go.

I still have a few questions i need to ask :P.

1. Will The cooling on the NB, SB,osfetsand the hard drive suffer conditions of no airflow because im removing all of the fans on the inside of the case.

2. For the barbs do they really need clips to hold them on. (only using 1 on the pump and rest on the rads)

3. Do 1/2" tubing fit securely on 1/2" barbs.

4. Is that RAM ok for a high overclock or should i invest in some better stuff?.

5. Should i go with the AX850 or the AX1200 for a more future investment?.

6. What is the best blue coloued cooling fluid because i really really dont want to use distilled water :(.

Thats all i can think of the now :D.

Thanks!.

Hi

Mostly looks great however I would change 2 or 3 things mostly on personal preference tbh:

Asus P6X58D-E instead of the Gigatripe
Patriot Viper 3x2gb instead of the Corsair
& I would say the PSU you have chosen is way OTT for what you need & at £240 imo its a rip off... 1000W would be plenty & far cheaper!... something like this would be ideal: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-130-AN&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=

Better still... hunt around and get a hold of a Silverstone PSU, very hard to beat... OcUK you need to add these to the shop ;)

Im thinking of that psu because its the best in the market really ?, plus with with 7 year warrenty and its very future proof?.

Never read anything on the asus P6X58-E is it a better overclocker than the UD5?, ill go google and have a look.

Ill go have a look at the RAM to thanks.

Had look at the board and it looks great!, i didnt really look that cheap for a motherboard :D the reviews on ocuk look good too and its on this week only :D.
Do you think i would be able to get about 4.2 Ghz + on this board ?

Still like the corsair ram better tho :D

Another thing, do you think this motherboard would survive that averclock with no airflow what so ever to it?

Well it would only be exausting hot air do you think that would be ok, the top mesh is being replaced with an acrylic window.

So do you think 2 92mm fans on the back of the case can handle it?.

EDIT: either that or i could just chance it? :D
