Hey guys,

I'm nearly ready to put through my order, so just after a few more opinions on the spec I've gone with. This is with future SLi in mind also. Gaming with BF3 and other new releases being the only purpose.

Someone has mentioned that I should choose a different brand Motherboard, as ASRock is viewed as a budget brand and un-reliable. Truth or garbage?

Also, there's quite a few 570 GFX cards on offer is there any major difference in the brands?

I don't mind spending the extra to go with 'solid - reputable' hardware. So if there's anything on there you think I should change or even downgrade, then I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Asrock is a budget brand, but at the moment I think they offer the best price/features ratio with their motherboards. If you dont need the Z68 features I would go for a cheaper P67 alternative, the MSI P67A-GD53 is a good board although its currently out of stock.

these GTX 570 should run a lot cooler/quieter

In that case I'll definitely go for the Twin frozr GTX570 then.

Is everything else good to order? Theres no reason to swap the motherboard?

Thanks

if you go with the asus, you would lose all your expansion slots except for one PCIe x1 but this is only when you add your second gpu.

Ah in that case I'll stick with the ASRock then, seems to have good reviews at least.

Probably a silly question now, but I take it there's no issue with space inside the case with everything fitting in?

Thanks

yeah, everything will fit, with 2 gpu's in the Asrock, you will still have access to one PCIe x1 and one PCI slot compared to Asus' 1 PCIe x1.
