Final Spec on my build

ok this is my final spec on my build

can anyone see any complications with this or would recomend anything else.

For what will you be using the machine? Will you be overclocking?

It will all work together, but I think you might be able to do a little better for the money.

i will be using it for music production mostly and no i wont overclock

I reckon that that mobo is probably a bit overkill then. What about it made you choose it? I assume you need Firewire. Will you be gaming? If not then the 8800 GT is OTT.

The extra few hundred MHz the Yorkfield offers is absolutely not worth the huge price tag. Having a discrete sound card will make all the difference in terms of audio quality.

i've got a m-audio delta 1010lt sound card so dont need it.

and i would like to play the latest games thats why i went for the 8800gt as well.

it was stabiltiy thats why i picked a dear motherboard and i like gigabyte

Paying more for elusive "stability" is a waste of money in my opinion. The Abit is just as stable if not more so than this X38 Gigabyte. The Gigabyte shines when it comes to overclocking but you won't be using those features.
