Looks good to me. I take it it's a gaming system?

Is your PSU up to snuff?

Q-Tec 650W PSU Tripple Fan

50 quid from a computer shop when my old one burnt out cause of summer heat and the fact the fan died in it too lol

If you're going to overclock your E6300 I highly reccomend you place that PSU securely in a wastepaper basket and get a quality unit like the ones from Enermax, Hiper, FSP, OCZ, or Seasonic. Q-Tecs, especially that model, have a very very bad reputation for blowing up and taking your other hardware with it.

wasnt really thinking of overclocking just upgrading from a amd althlon xp 2500+ 1.8gig
with 512 of ddr pc3200
on a soltek frn2-l mobo which is all ancient now lol

best thing thats in it is the agp 7800 gs 256mb which is goin on the bay :P

qtec actually gives about 330 watts not 650, i know ive had one, pc was unstable and became stable when i changed to a proper psu while i had a pc wich is a lot less power intesnsive (single core, 6600gt,etc... )

so do you reccomend i get a new psu before setting up the rig or asap afterwards ??

and also any recomendations on the cheap side but also decent :)

400w is enough if from a proper brand ( enermax, tagan, seasonic, akasa, antec, etc...) if you arent plannign to overclock.
